Adobe Women’s FA Cup: Chelsea to Face Crystal Palace in Quarter-Finals

Chelsea Women will look to take another step toward FA Cup glory when they host Crystal Palace in the quarter-finals of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup.

The tie, along with the other last-eight matchups, is set to take place on Sunday, March 9, with kick-off times to be confirmed.

Adobe Women’s FA Cup: Quarter-Final Draw:

  • Manchester City vs. Aston Villa
  • Chelsea vs. Crystal Palace
  • Manchester United vs. Sunderland
  • Arsenal vs. Liverpool

Chelsea secured their place in the last eight with an emphatic 4-1 victory over Everton in the fifth round at Kingsmeadow.

Despite falling behind early, the Blues responded through a Catarina Macario penalty, followed by goals from Mayra Ramírez, Maika Hamano, and Sandy Baltimore to seal a commanding win.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace, currently at the bottom of the Women’s Super League, progressed by defeating Newcastle United from the Championship in the previous round.

This quarter-final clash marks an intriguing matchup, with Chelsea, the WSL leaders, heavily favored against a Palace side battling relegation.

However, with the unpredictability of knockout football, Sonia Bompastor’s team will need to stay focused as they chase yet another FA Cup triumph.
