
Joseph Wheeler-Henry, one of Chelsea’s brightest young talents and one of the 24/25 scholars, has secured his future with the club by signing his first professional contract.
Joseph joins Olutayo Subuloye who also recently signed a contract at Chelsea.
The 18-year-old attacking right-back joined Chelsea at the Under-13 level from Hendon and has since become a vital part of the club’s academy setup.
Known for his pace, offensive contributions, and defensive solidity, Wheeler-Henry has showcased his potential across several competitions.
During the 2023/24 season, he played a pivotal role in Chelsea’s Under-17 Premier League Cup success, contributing to a 3-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers in the final at Molineux.
His efforts have earned him a regular spot in the Under-18 squad under coach Hassan Sulaiman, where he continues to impress in both league and cup competitions.
Wheeler-Henry also made an impact in Chelsea’s FA Youth Cup campaign, coming off the bench in a thrilling 3-2 win over Leicester City earlier this season.
